New TRD PRO wheels!

Hey everyone!

I saw these 16” wheels and I’m thinking they are going to be the new TRD PRO wheels for the Tacoma. What you guys think?

Btw, they are not replicas, they are OEM!

 

I wonder if those are the ones coming on the new 40th edition? They sort of look the part?

 

Aren't they the Tacoma Trail edition wheels? FYI those center caps fit in the newer 4runner TRD Pro wheels. And from the pictures I've seen the 40th Anniversary wheels are just the current TRD Pro wheels painted bronze.

I'll be buying my next set of wheels here. They have the 2020 taco pro wheel in 17" and it weighs less then 20 lbs.

Any issue with the offset difference making tires rub with the bronze TRD wheel on a TRD OR? +15 to +4? I had the bronze on my Tacoma and the offset difference made me have a slight rub which I want to avoid. Stock tire size.

as well anyone know if that centre cap fits the TRD off road wheel? I like the look of the OR powder coated bronze but don’t want to have to figure out a colour match for the centre caps.

 

I dont think their bore spacing is correct though. 112 vice 106..

 

generally speaking, 0mm offset is the limit of stock size and stock suspension without rubbing, any more negative you're bound to rub on something, I don't think you'll have any problem with +4mm

 

that's if you want the wheels to be hub centric, these wheels are so well made without hub matching bore size, there's still no centering issue nor vibration.

I really like the look, but they look like a PITA to clean.
