Been a few years since my first install log, so wanted to share recent updates from the work by Area 41 in Atlanta.

I was previously enjoying the AudioFrog GS25 running as wide bands in the dash, GB60s in the doors on a Helix V Eight MK2 and AudioControl LC1.800 for the GB12, but the prefab box was crap and needed to go. Plus I wanted to step up the front stage to full 3way with GB25 and GB10 in custom pillars.

Chris at Area 41 did the pillars wrapped in alcantara and a custom box for the side panel by removing the JBL factory box and opening the panel for more room. He also upgraded the HU from a Pioneer to the Kenwood Excelon DDX9907XR, plus added the new Epicenter LE.

The sound difference on the mids and highs is significantly better. More detail, better staging and focus. And the sub is SO much better. Plays clean and impactful without being boomy. Couldn’t be happier with the sound.

Love the audiofrog setup! Please help me with this... What bracket did you use to connect the GB25s to the dash area?
If there are any other crossovers or accessories that you could help me identify as well, I'm ready to order the GB25s.
    Grateful for your time.

Join the AudioFrog enthusiast group on Facebook. There are several installers that will make the 4Runner brackets for you on their laser cutters pretty inexpensively. They have the GB25 and GS25 sizes available.
