I installed a Cali Raised LED Premium roof rock and put a roofnest on top. Since installed the Roofnest, the front of my rack is bouncing pretty hard off my 4Runner when off-roading or hitting bumps.

Any suggestions or brackets I can install to further secure my roof rack so it wont bounce? I am worried it is damaging my truck.

    Thanks yall!

Assume you have adjustable feet on the front? If so, adjust them higher, they may simply be too low. They may also have a drill option that may help. I'd contact them before taking advice from anyone online. Just my $0.02.

I have the same roof rack and same issue with my Roof Top Tent.

What I have figured out is that the side rails of the rack are flexing like a bow causing the front feet to move side to side. I am installing 1x1 8020 rails on the bottom of the crossmembers to add side to side rigidity.

The downside to no drill front footed racks.

I know I’m one of the idiots that waited a year for my roof rack, but is this a normal problem for other racks? I remember the prinsu rack was vibrating and eating paint from the front for one guy on here.
