The Queen was 98. Served in the WACs in WWII.
She was Queen so long, most people don't even remember there were others before Her. She was Queen longer than most people have been alive!

She was loved by Her subjects. She will be missed by most of the world, let alone Her subjects.

Both my grandmother and father were born in England, and my grandma loved the queen. She would be sad to hear the news.

 

Actually, the royal family is hated by many Brits... they call them parasites ...

 

Imagine what The new American cancel culture would do to them over there. Talk about white elitist supremacy. They'd have torn down The palace for sure.

Yup. I was born there, fascinated by them as a kid … disgusted as an adult after learning how much money they got from tax payers as the country suffered. One of the greatest landowners in the world. Corrupt like any other institution, covering up crimes and influencing global policies for the rest of us … Charles supporting “you will own nothing and be happy”, while they own everything.

 

I think there was a run at them recently, but don’t think our media could get enough momentum.

I am also a British Citizen by birth and saw her in person when I was younger, but never cared too much for her in my adult life. Sadly enough, the country is still suffering with the amount of tax that's imposed by the royal family, only to stuff their pockets...

they have influence on the government, kind of like corporations and the extremely wealthy. Other than that, I think is just drama, like how some are obsessed with actors and such (reality folks).

1776 happened so that I don't need to care about foreign royalty. Of course to those here that were either born in the UK or otherwise have some historical or family connection, I can imagine that it is a notable event, particularly because if how long she has been your queen.

 

Yeah, but the nice thing now in addition to holding a British passport, having lived here 37 years, I'm now AMURICAN!!!! LOL!

My US passport is in 1st place, followed by my UK passport, then Trinidad and Tobago (derivative) is passport #3.
