I got my Nitrogen rig working now. Good thing too as the 2 coil overs were only at 75 psi, both secondaries were at 0, and the rear smoothies were only at about a 100. All six are now at 175 - 200 psi.

I know a lot folks don't even have fb account, but a lot of us do. There are a lot of off road pages I love on there, but I have seen first hand the censorship going on lately. Then I ran across this piece by Tucker Carlson. https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/tuc...-power-and-the-us-is-becoming-more-like-china
Even if you don't like Fox news, which I'm not a fan of any major news source, the censorship is undeniable on fb recently. I'm even going to ask my Mother to delete her account when I call her later for M D. I'm hoping to start a trend to show these people that we aren't a bunch of mindless twits.

    Covid relief bill?
85.5 million for Cambodia, 134 million for Burhma, 1.3 billion for Egypt. $600.00 for Americans....seems fair.
But we should call it Covid relief for everyone BUT Americans. 5000 pages and 5 hours to read it before a vote? Plenty of time. SMH
If your not pissed off, you better wake up soon, or take your head out of the sand.
I will say it again, Welcome to the peoples republic of used to be America.
    Merry Communism everyone.

Let me start by saying I can't give this product a full endorsement as far as fitment. This truck is not a daily and used 90% off road, so I do not have CATs. I have been tossing around the idea of putting High Flow GESi Cats in place of the resonators if I ever daily drive it again. Getting the CELs eliminated was a trial and error process as well. The mini cats have worked quite well though. The Y-pipe was installed before I was able to afford the Headers and I was not able to install this myself because of my work schedule. My friends shop claimed that they couldn't get it to match up to the drivers OEM exhaust manifold, so I gave them permission to cut and refit it. Then when I installed the Headers, I could not get it to match up to the drivers side again. Because I don't weld, I had to have them refit it again. I wish I had tried to make the initial install, and then I could give you a more detailed explanation of what the fitment issues were in the first place. As far as performance, I have been happy with it.

I am having the same issue with them not lining up. I have the headers and crossover pipe being installed at the same time. Appears the flanges are not clocked correctly as the resonators do not run parallel to the frame. Internet searches for them installed are few and far between so thank you for the detailed response. I really didn’t want to cut into these things but if that is necessary, so be it.

That sucks. I wonder if the OEM crossover would mate with the Headers. Hope you get it sorted out.

Did you grab the LC200 version cause the tie rods are beefier? Any other considerations you had choosing this one? I've been considering swapping mine...

The one thing everyone considering this swap should know, Its definitely not a plug and play. It will take specially machined offset bushings as well as frame modifications and it will be quite difficult to fit for oem width control arms. I may be in over my head on this mod. But the whole unit is a beast. It dwarfs an oem rack.

Next phase has begun. Rear end swap w 4:56 Nitro gears/Nitro Axles and an ARB locker. Also has tabs welded on for the "Currie Anti Rock" anti sway bar and tabs welded in to accommodate the welded rod ends on the King 14" triple bypasses I will be running. Also swapping in a 19 gal FJ fuel tank to free up some rear down travel.

Also pulled the T-case just before dark. Weather might be crappy tomorrow so I got the jump on it.
2012 manual case going back in to replace the electric full time. It'll be cool having 2WD.

Got the tcase installed. Waiting on drive shafts and then I will have to wait until the front diff gets the 4:56 gear to try it out unfortunately.

    Overdue update:
LC 200 rack did not get installed. I mocked it up and cycled it with the suspension and there was too much bump steer.
So the old rack went back in. I have a Tundra rack to get modified down the road. The 200 rack is hollow and not a good candidate for modification.
Now on to the DK +3.5.
After cutting the oem bump stop horn and the inner fender well clearance for the bypass mount to get welded in, the limit strap clevis and the MC cam gussets also got welded in at this point and my goofy little cardboard bump stop template was put to use. The placement of this was difficult for me being the first one I ever attempted. You can see there isn't much room.
    20220330_091829.jpg

Here is all the frame work painted up.
    20220629_123949~2.jpg
When I pulled everything apart, I was not impressed with the Centric 5th gen calipers I had. They were in terrible shape and one piston was seized. So Toyota has been having parts sales with free shipping and I took advantage and bought some 5th gen oem calipers and dust shields, then painted them with clear. Pads and Rotors came from R1 Concepts. So far I think they're doing well.

One of the final mock ups:
    DK +3.5.jpg
    Screenshot_20220818-161424.jpg
Also found some seats on the cheap. They were just faded, with solid cushions. So a little flat black dye and they will look ok.
    Corbeau.jpg

I think I'm close on my ride height and the fenders will go on after I tune the shocks.

    Thank You!
Pavement ride isn't bad at all.
But imo off road, it's blowing thru to full bump way too easy. I still have about 50+ lbs to add w skids, fiberglass fenders and some inner liners I want fab out of tractor trailer mud flaps.
The inner well may need clearance because the tires hit when I got into that flat topped whoop, early in the video.
If I could keep the preload where it is, I think the shocks are sitting in the middle of the travel. So after the extra weight is added, I think the COs might need one more turn of preload, and then pull them apart and put just a little stiffer valving in there.
But, the trade off is a stiffer pavement ride, so if that happens you hope you can adjust that out w the bypass. I think the bypass valving at 15/12, should be good. All these adjustments are obviously subject to personal preference and the type of terrain you're hitting. I wish I lived out there so I could go to a tuning day. No one here in Fla has a clue about tuning shocks lol.

Side bar: Forgot about the Currie Anti Rock. It does a good job of helping to control the body roll w no front asb.

I forgot about the Currie Anti Rock, it definitely helps with body roll and stability. This unit is a direct bolt up to the frame and the axle housing I purchased was already set up with tabs.

I had the shoulder harnesses bolted to the back seat anchor points, but the angle was no bueno for spinal injuries.

So, I installed this 48/49" universal harness bar. Had to do a little fab work but they're solid.

The angle is a lot closer to recommended, and although not quite there, they're much better than when they were anchored to the floor.

I did this install last year to complement the headers, but forgot to post it.

In 2005 the 4.7 V8 (2UZ FE) -4Runner, GX470, Land Cruiser, Tundra and Sequoia, received a larger throttle body, upgraded fuel rail, and an upgraded plastic intake plenum w vacuum actuated butter fly valves to create equal length runners, increasing torque across the entire power band.

I opted to change to larger 270cc injectors from Keith over at Dirty Deeds as well.

She has been running really good since these mods and the header install. Fuel trims are more consistent also.

    Out with old:
Found a pound of sand under there and you see why a starter job costs so much.

Installed a Toyota reman while I was in there. You also have to change some coolant plumbing to the throttle body.
