Painted to match rocker trim

    Has anybody had the trail rocker trim painted to match the body color instead of installing it black. I wanted to switch my Limited trim for the smaller trim before I even got it. But know that I have it I think it’ll look like something is missing. Thought the color matched trail/sr5 trim might be a compromise. My paint guy quoted me $600 to paint both rocker trims and the fender flare for the rear door.
