Howdy everyone!! So I ordered a rear arm swing for my 4Runner to move that tire from under the truck. Now, i think it goes without saying, that with the spare now in full view of the world, i cant have the OEM steel wheel juat chillin there! I am still running my OEM TRD Off Road wheels at the moment and am in the markert for idealy 1 (or 2 if you dont want to sell just 1) wheel in the greater DMV area. Willing to local pick up!

If someone has a set of 4 that they are willing to break up then put me in for one too with local pickup. I just cancelled my DOM order but am in the same boat - I will either find a hitch mounted carrier I like or go all in on a full bumper cover replacement with swingout so may as well go ahead and get the wheel.

@SpookyMcPew what carrier did you end up ordering?

Thanks! Those look nice and were at the top of my list for fitment. At that price point though it's got me on the fence of going full bumper cover with swingout. I just hate to add the extra weight.

Yeah, i was thinking that too....but i am not RRREEEAAALLLYYYYYY needing the full bumper yet. I really am doing this just to relocate the spare tire. I had to change the spare once on my taco...on the side of the road, at 530am, in the rain. I vowed never to deal with an under mounted spare ever again. Haha. Yeah, for a couple 100 more you could do the bumper, but the shipping on that i figured would be more and the install time too.

Same here. Had an undermount on my '97 exploder that I changed in the snow and it was no fun. My grand cherokees since then had them under the cargo area which is nice to keep them clean and unload but you gotta get all the cargo out first. Rear mount really just seems like the nicest solution

I may check pick and pull junkyards too at some point to see what they'd cost. I think most wheels get stripped before they make I there though

I just took off my off roads wheels yesterday, they got 4K on them. I’m in the Maine area, but using TacomaWorld Express we can get them moved somewhere if needed.

let me know if your interested.

After rereading your post, I am only willing to sell all 4, if they don’t sell, I’m going to put new tires on and maybe use that plastic spray stuff. After putting on the pros I had on my previous taco, we plan to change up some little details that will clash with the OR wheels.

Well...how much are you looking for the set? I dont REALLY need all 4...but trying to find someone willing to sell just 1 is about as easy as finding the lost Arc. Haha.

I haven’t figured it out yet, but 800 for all 4 as they are I’d be happy. I figure the TPMS and wheels should be worth about that. Not sure what TPMS sensors go for, but unless I have to remove the tires from the wheels, then it doesn’t make $encs to remove them.

Hmmm, you know...I think i might have to pass on that. I have several other things i want to get for my runner and spending 800 on 4 wheels (when i really only want 1)...even though that is a CRAZY good deal for a full set. I still really just need the one.

I did some research last night, these ORP wheels look to be over 400 each at the dealerships, why when the pros are 200 plus?

My dealer tried to quote me 600 for ONE....I laughed out loud in the service department area.
