26 years here still in my original alternator. I keep thinking the light will turn on but it never does.
    I’m sitting at around 318k.

My '03 had 257K on the original alternator and starter when I traded it in. I'm curious how long they could have lasted!

None. Bone Stock. EXCEPT: Brushguard, tow hitch, both welded to the frame. It's good to have friends and a fully equipped garage!
I've got 325,000 miles on my 87 Hilux, factory starter.
357,000 miles on my 99 4Runner, also, factory starter.

The starter is something Toyota got very right. Just my opinion, though.
    Have fun, all!

I have an 1930 Buick with the original generator and starter. Had to have the 90 year old coil rebuilt recently though. That finally gave out.

One-at-this-price stripper. Bought new 34 yrs ago, a $13K leftover. Added Detroit TruTrac, 1”rear spring spacer and “pinstripes”… Factory AC kit and roof rack bought at dealer cost at time of purchase, still blows ice cold 32yrs later. 2022 AG ORP all stock.
32yr/259K on my 1990, AC is ice cold. I have only replaced the TPS, front crank timing cover seal, exhaust donuts, timing chain guide(upgrade) and a water pump in 32 yrs. Bought brand new for $12,999…what a rip off…
