Interesting question... Thanks @ReRunner for the tag. Yeah, I have not pulled ours to check if it removes from the silver pieces. Ours has the matte brushed grey metallic look to it (the one that cracks like crazy) so we have not messed with that. I will try to get a hold of my dealership contact and see if he can pull anything up for it. It could be wrapped... I asked my wife if I could wrap hers in the Topo but she said "No!" (She is tired of me messing with her car haha, Im still in trouble for installing the MESO dome light.)

Edit: Some part numbers as well

Looks like it is a pull out like all the other plastics then some screws to remove the silver ends

Finally got the tires installed. Alignment first thing in the morning.

Went with 285/70 Firestone Destination AT2 on the ORP wheels. Looks good to me. 41lbs for SL load is only 3lbs heavier than the stock tires. I'm not doing any hardcore offroading so I'm okay.

I am though getting slight rubbing on the front wheel well, so I'll be pushing the lining forward to address it.

Also noticed the tire is very close to the stock UCAs. Is this a known issue with the Westcott Lift on the TRD FOX? It's probably due to the higher offset of the ORP wheels. Hopefully there won't be any rubbing on the UCAs but I'll keep an eye on it.

Who cares? This never shows everything anyway.

This was yesterday when I got home. The power was out, and there was pizza from lunch that was cold. I tried putting it on the engine thinking it might heat the pizza up some. The engine was off, but I had just gotten home. It didn't help much.

This happened today. My 2020 4Runner hit 20,000 miles. I pulled over and took a pic of it. This is about 1/4 of my old Jeep's life. Let's see how long the Toyota lasts!

This is a 2020+ navigation cover. I found it on ebay. The only colors I could find were carbon fiber and red. I just wanted something to cover the silver of the navigation unit. Especially the part that faces upwards. The silver liked to reflect the sun. This new one still reflects some, but it's not nearly as bad. I might get it vinyl wrapped or something in something matte that won't reflect so much. It fits nicely. I have no complaints about it. I actually put this on a few weeks ago, but I took a pic of it today.

Probably because of the offset. I have 285's with the eibach pro kit on my stock fox suspension and no issues with the UCA

That's my thought too. I'm not noticing any rubbing at the moment so it's not a huge deal. Maybe I can get away with 10-15mm spacer up front and call it a day. May need to do some more trimming though.

Yeah. The pro wheels are 0.5 narrower and have ~10mm lower offset, so it all makes sense now.

Blacked out badges, window deflectors, smoked 3rd brake light. I have a Borla muffler on order as well as some color matched engine cover stickers. I'll be painting the stock wheels soon as well. Falken tires in the fall as well.
Thanks for the suggestion. I already have a pre cut wrap for it (I forget where I got it) but the instructions say to remove it. I've never wrapped anything but I just might try wrapping it in place and if it needs trimming or something I'll use an Xacto knife or something and be really careful. I have to give it a bit more thought. I don't have much patience with fiddly things these days lol.

Nice, looks good! Have you been able to put a jack under it to take a look at clearances at full extension?

I would also make sure the springs on the fox shock clear the UCA at full extension, because I remember seeing a post that happened to someone who had spacers on fox shocks.

I'm sure the beauty cover on the engine didn't help much. I should have just put it on the roof. At least that way it would have been in direct sunlight.

Well, the nerf steps are back on. The raptor should be all cured and ready for the road. I saw a few areas where I could've touched up a bit, but overall, I am pretty darn satisfied with how it turned out. Now to see how the raptor holds up. I had a bit of trouble with a jack that was helping me hold one end during the installation, and it did leave a little scratch, but I was able to rub it away with my finger. Plus, it's underneath and I fully expect it to get wear and tear there.

I'm really happy with how she's turning out these days. I feel great with all the DIY projects being completed.

Anyway, sorry for the long post and multiple pics. I just really love my Black Betty :p

The FrontRunner water tank cap split and since the tank has water and is in use I had to jerry-rig it with Saran wrap under the cap until able to obtain a replacement.

    IMG_8659.HEIC.jpg

Since that and other projects are waiting to arrive I took the time to WASTE time. While on the trail or turning on pavement, the Foodi door opens sometimes, and the content spill onto the floor. Thus, I installed a board to hold the door closed. The board is a leftover board from the stove, it's a whiteboard on one side and black on the other. Again, looking to WASTE time I installed it as a whiteboard for the kitchen area. Unfortunately, it rattles. Thus, maybe it stays or maybe it goes. By the way, to those who recall, the plant in Mom's and Pop's memory didn't make it. On the first trip offroad it would not stay in the pot and now sits in the kitchen at home.

Ive used raptor liner on a billion builds. Did my sliders (along with my valances, and oem roof rack, that's gone now) It is hella durable,.. as good as a bed liner sprayed at some shops. My valances have no damage and i beat on this thing. With the sliders,.. just abuse them, and touch them up whenever ya want/need. If your just using them as steps, and not sliders, ...itll out last you. Not even powder coat will hold to teetering your rig on boulders.... but, if ya care thar much, respray em. I love raptor liner, and keep buying more kits. Even tried the color tint-able, and sprayed a couple of my co2 tanks blue and grey. Worked great. Go have fun.

Went to the nearest dirt road to make sure I'm not getting any rubbing over bumps since the nearest off road park is two hours away. All good! The trd fox with 33s ride very nicely.

Replaced the halogen fog lights with DD SS3 Pros. I liked the looks of the halogen lights with the Laminx covers, but still wasn’t happy with the light performance.

I also repaired a few broken grid lines in the rear defroster. It’s not a color match like the kit advertised, but all lines now work. I can live with that. Not sure how they got damaged but I’d guess the previous owner or a dealer prep kid cleaned perpendicular to the lines rather than parallel.

Anybody on here installed a N2Design (or similar module) auto start on a 2022 push to start vehicle without the steering lock connector. My vehicle don't have the steering lock connector and the written insruction is very confusing to me. I am not electrical wiring savvy. The video N2Design have on YouTube do not help me with a 2022 4Runner. Thanks in advance.
