Ironman Foam Pro Cell almost done. Going to let it settle for few days, do an alignment and make a video with measurements and anything i could think of..:D:D

My initial thought rides better than Bilstien5100. Rides way way better than TRD Pro shocks.

Unless you like the green coils, I had mine power coated to red. The powder coating gives it additional protection from rust too. Also invest in the upper control arms from Ironman...Worth it! DO NOT forget the output shaft bearing!

I don't like green coils at all. Hell no i won't remove this again for powder coating. They were pretty big to install. Me and my buddy used lots of bad words when installing. Lol.

Stock UCA were good for clearing the 285 and springs. I only have to check alignment. This one already had 2.5 lift with stock uca and alignment was not bad. Will see.

I have no knowledge on outshaft bearing issue. Are you talking about the diff drop? So far CVs having good angle in front so didn't wanted to do anything. We did install the provided bigger swaybay brackets. In the back we used the 1.5in coils instead of 2in coils come with the kit so we used the stock end links and other components.

Have you looked? I have not heard of any 4R that doesn't have the split rear seats. (But I don't get out very often). And the middle seat-back folds down on its own.

I wish my dad kept this flip'ish' phone. Would be so much fun me carrying this. This had both analog and digital signals. It will work on digital band first and when signals get weak it will switch to analog band.

I use to have a Nextel phone. I remember (in my unwise days) I was out with a friend and I was saying how durable the phone was. I threw the phone across the parking lot and high up in the air. We went and picked it up and the only thing that happened was the battery housing came off and the battery popped out. Put it back together and back in business. Phones these days fall out of your hands you’re screwed. Better have insurance on the phone. Something this recent generation won’t understand. Man I miss those phones and if people in my circle had Nextel I would jump on that again.

Blacked out badges, window deflectors, smoked 3rd brake light. I have a Borla muffler on order as well as some color matched engine cover stickers. I'll be painting the stock wheels soon as well. Falken tires in the fall as well.

Ahh that's a bummer, I was hoping these were direct replacements myself. Was waiting for the matte finish to become available. Guess I'll focus on a different mod. Thanks for posting.

Thanks man. And you answered it, lol.
I like the sleek sporty look, and I have never used any roof racks on any of my vehicles. And if i ever do, i still have them and it's 8 bolts to put back on.

Man, if anything, like .1 mpg. Obviously just the science of aerodynamics and weight will do something, but not much. Just decided to do it cuz i like the way it looks is all.

I ended up taking off the side steps also cuz i didn't like the SR5P steps, and I like the truck a whole lot better without them.

Anyone know how to remove this piece on the dashboard right above the glove box? Once in a while I get a bad sun glare off of it and I want to wrap it. It looks like the silver end pieces have to come off first but I pried on them with plastic tools and they don't budge. Thanks.IMG_0189.jpg

Finally got to spraying Raptor 2k liner on my nerf bars. Waaaaay too windy before today. This stuff is no joke. When they say spray 24-32 inches from item, they mean it! Will post final pics after fully done. Prepping this project took longer than I anticipated.

    Gritty! No rubber.
    20220719_183228.jpg 20220719_183204.jpg

I will say this stuff is fantastic. However, each can is different in how it sprays, especially when getting down to the last 1/4 can or so. Some completely gloop, others keep spraying a nice thick mist. The key is keeping distance and constantly shaking the can as you go.

I'm going to let these cure for a day or 2 and see how they look back on the 4runner. Pretty satisfied overall with how this project has turned out. Will post more photos when completed.

Edit: This took a total of 4 cans. 3 layers all around with an extra layer on the step pieces for additional grip and protection from wonderful rocks in shoes/boots, etc. ;)

Where did you get those steps?
I feel like those are the best option and best looking for a step if you don't want running boards. Are these the 2" or 3" ?

A question to anyone with the answer.

I noticed chipping on the powder coated sliders. Is that expected from driving on dirt/rock roads or a defect in the powder coating itself? Thanks.

Powder coating is awesome. But even it can only take so much of a beating against rocks/debris. Seems normal. That's what mine were doing (flaking). So I used raptor 2k liner on them to see how it holds up.

These are n-fab nerf bars. 3 inches, wheel to wheel. They were installed when I purchased the 4runner from the dealership.

I have a set. Quick easy install. Better foot purchase when you step on them (OEM) than anything other than Predator steps.
