    Hello,
I’ve changed the starter and the battery has 12.5v. I’m suspecting the ignition switch? Is that a difficult replacement? When I turn the key nothing happens but everything electrically works fine.

    thoughts?

Keep it simple look for the simple issues such as fuse first next have someone turn the Key can you hear a relay click? (turn the key to first position then to start position because other relays click on first) then since you replaced starter now it does not work go back and Check your wire connections. Also more details like why did you replace the starter in the first place because it was failing or for the same issues you currently have ?

old term for Solenoid the Early Toy's had much larger Relays with Magnetic Coils that close / open Electrical contacts and you can hear a loud Click when they get power.

It only happens every now and again so I figure it was the solenoid when the starter is hot. That’s why I changed the starter. Even when it doesn’t start, I do not hear a click.
