I currently have installed the Eibach Stage 1 Pro Lift. I plan on pulling a trailer and don’t want rear end sag, the springs that come with the kit are a 1” rear lift, seems like any springs that are stiffer are also going to add lift. Accutune recommends not lifting the rear ended more than a 1” iift if the 4runner is equipped with KDSS.
So my question: is anyone running a higher than 1” rear lift with KDSS? If so what are you running? Thanks.

We need to update that rear lift height suggestion. That note was prior to these newer KDSS drop brackets being available. Now that those are available, lift height is not as big of an issue.

Few things to answer your question:
-Yes you can run a taller spring, just be sure to get spacers like these.
-If you are going up to a 2" spring, your shocks may be too short.
-We've installed a few Icon 2" rear springs and seem to work pretty well with added weight.

Do you recommend combining the spacers and taller springs? Also I have the Rear Eibach Pro Shocks would those end up being too short? Thank you for your response.

"The spacers"? Not sure what you are referring to.

I don't have specs on Eibach shocks.

I was referring to your response to my question. You mentioned using “spacers” Not trying to be a knucklehead just trying to get some answers because I definitely need to beef up the rear of me rig.

Got it, you mentioned spacers and springs so thought you were bringing in a new lift option of adding a spacer to the spring. Yes, the KDSS spacers are a great idea for just about any rear lift IMO.

Thank you. What’s the function of the KDSS spacers?
