2016 4Runner rear fender and wheel flare repair

    2016 Black Trail 4Runner
    Question, is it a big deal or concern for a knowledgeable body shop to pull side rear fender flares, rear valance and the rear bumper assembly off to repaint? Then reattach the parts with new clips as needed without concern for a tight factory refit. I have a 2016 black/mica Trail Premium, still looking to keep things as original. Thanks and appreciate any feedback.

    There is no way to paint those parts other than removing them. Otherwise you'll get a Maaco special and it will look horrible. Trust them, that is the correct procedure.
