Being that the powertrain in these vehicles is legendary, I thought it would be cool to showcase the highest mileage we have on this forum's 4R and issues you have at those high miles. Mine only has 90K miles an still feels brand new!

My neighbor sold his 2000 model about a year ago and it had about 400k on it. Still ran great.

please keep posting. I just bought a 1995 with 196,404 miles. I will let you all know next week how it runs when I fly up to Colorado to pick up the vehicle.

My post is contrary to the intent of this thread, but my 2018 is just now approaching 25k miles.

At this rate, I’m doubtful my 4Runner will reach its full mileage potential with me behind the wheel. ;)

I haven't had any really high mileage 4Runners, but..

-I traded in my '94 with ~221 K and running perfectly.

-I traded in my '03 with 257K, and running perfectly. It still had the original starter and alternator. It was on the second battery.

-My '19 is just about to hit 80K. Aside from the needle bearing and the fuel pump recall, it has been perfect so far.

'15 with 111k. Not a single issue besides the needle bearing.

While my 2016 only has 88k on it and has been flawless (and was perfectly maintained for the first 57k of its life by the previous one-owner), my best friend has a 2016 SR5 with more than 170k on it.
He doesn't do his own maintenance, only goes to the dealer......but he's replaced NOTHING besides brake pads and rotors, and fluids, since day 1 of ownership new. It still feels brand new and looks darn near close to it.

I hate that he likes to drive with the windows down....the inside is dusty as hell! (See thread about "Dirt Accumulating")

A/C is for city, stuck-in-traffic situations. On the open road, open the windows.

Yes! And, if you're in the back of a T.W.A.T run, DON'T open the windows! :D
