Hi there! Has anyone used plasti dip to cover up the chrome bumpers? I have a 97 Limited in Green and am thinking about either the Aintree Green, Gunmetal Grey, or just Black - but the stock paint color has a little shimmer so I'm wondering what would look best? If I go gunmetal or black - thinking about doing the rims too.

I don't want to take any parts of the car off to do it.

Would love to hear your experiences.

    Thanks!
    Melody

I just recently PlastiDipped my front grill in black. I think it looks pretty good.

Plasti Dip has poor adhesion to chrome. It will come off.

My chrome bumper caps have held up perfectly fine since August... through the winter thus far and multiple car washes... touch car washes.
7 application layers applied to a clean service. Didn't even interfere with my clearance sensors on my Tundra.

    :notsure:
