2018 ORP gas mileage

Recently I’ve noticed that my gas mileage has really gotten worse. The gas mileage reader on the dash now stays at 13.2 MPG. It used to read different range based on driving but now it just stays at 13.2. Has anyone else seen this?

 

Calculate it manually.

 

On next fill-up, reset the reader on the dash. If you have not reset it for a long time, that could be the reason. And as stated above - calculate manually and compare.

 

Make sure it’s on the correct mileage reader. There is one that reads “after reset” and one that says “after refuel”.

“After reset” screen could go all the way back to when it was new, if it’s never been reset…

 

Turn that display off and, as stated above, hand calculate after each fill up.

 

Mine usually stays at 15.8 until I reset it.

My Unicorn 4 runner keeps getting better and better fuel mileage. squeezed out an extra 2 mpg this week!

Stock as stock can be...no extra weight , no roof racks, no big tires, no cargo, just running boards , and a light pedal foot. I drive 60mph highway (mostly )street tread tires have to help? ( Bridgestone Dueler HT's 33psi. ) I think I am fortunate to have the best tuned 4.0L made in japan.... 4runner

You are probably the wiser one in the group leaving it stock.

I average 17-18 with 285’s and 3/2 lift. I keep telling myself to get rid of the lift and 285’s if and when I wear the tires out. May take a while considering I barely drive 4000 miles a year.

 

Definitely achievable - if you drive real slow

I have a Gobi RR and 285 KO2's. I might end up removing the rack and getting a set of regular tires to do my daily driving. Gas is getting too expensive and I'm getting 14mpg lmao
