    Diablo sucks.

I just used dawn dish soap in a spray bottle for them. Dawn power wash works very well, too, but leave it off the tires.

@SlvrSlug nailed it. I use that and a sealer. Wheels always look new. Just did mine today.

Do you wet the wheels with water first or spray the sonax on dry wheels? No spotting on the wheels when you’re done?

I use Sonax as well. Spray it on cool dry wheels and let it set for a few. Then uses brushes. No issues with spotting.

Welcome from Wisconsin! I've used different wheel cleaners in the past, but, Dawn dish soap in the wash water and a soft wash mitt seem to work just fine.

I use this, but mine are the bronze TRD wheels. I think they have a different finish from the black wheels. But I will say, the meguiars works good on them.

    Thanks friends.
I'm gonna try the dish soap cause it's easy and already in the kitchen. If that doesn't get the last bits of brake dust, I'll give the Meguiars a try.

Has anyone tried the Suds.Lab Zero Acid Wheel Cleaner on their black trd wheels? Saw it at Walmart and watched some reviews but not sure if it's safe to use on our black matte wheels.

Side note--if I have the TRD ORP Stock wheels is the Sonax or Dr. Beasley safe to use? I have read that you have to be careful what type of product you use on various wheels depending on what they are made out of (aluminium etc); sorry not to disrupt the OR black wheel comments.

Anyone ceramic coat their TRD wheels? Have some ceramic that's leftover from my SCS wheels on the Tacoma. Wondering what the results are.
I may just do a test plot on the backside of a wheel.

I don’t have the TRD wheels but did purchase the ORP wheels on Craig’s list. They were in rough shape scuffed and dirty. They have a clear coat protective coating that I wiped clean with wheel cleaner then used a drill buffer with an extremely light clear coat safe polish. They came out looking nearly new. A little time consuming but worth it. If these wheels are clear coated you could do a sample spot on the inside to check the results before committing.
