    So this is on my 02 Tacoma but I assume they’re the same parts as same year Tacoma. Im waiting for the Tacoma forum to register. Anyway these squirrels stashed a mess in my filter housing I guess. This burnt up on my wife and this is what I found. What can I expect for repairs. I’m not doing this myself so…

    Ok so I found out it’s a resistor to control fan speed.



    Anybody have any good tips for getting the smell of burnt acorns, leaves and squirrel shit out of my upholstery?

    Damnit man!! Looks like your going to have to replace the whole evaporator box from what I can see in the pic. :annoyed:

    That sounds bad. I still haven’t had a chance to take a good look at the damage.

    That's one of those jobs, I'd probably trim the melted part off, fix the electrical and just fiberglass it over and call it a day.
