They've got a new cherry foam foam that goes on thick and stays on pretty well as you wash.

 

How’s she feel after adding the larger tire? Noticeable difference in ride, acceleration, or braking?

 

Yep, the new crossmember measurements for the T-Case skid is little off. Wasn't the case when I install 2018 my 4R ORP. Not sure what happened with RCI.

When you decide to install the fuel tank skid make sure you have good patience..

 

*laughs* Yeah....I remember doing the steel gas tank skid on my previous 4Runner. That was not fun at all.

 

Doesn't feel any different to me. I went from stock size KO2s to these, both C rated. I was expecting to notice a change because they are heavier but I'm really happy with them.

 

I am wanting to upsize my Nitto Ridgegrapplers as well and I am hoping not to feel a difference in performance and mileage either…

 

I had the green color wash, not sure which one ill go with next since they have sooooo many options. I used their ceramic coating, it works awesome! shines and protects for about 6 months then I reapply.

 

Washed it, spray waxed, vacuumed, then new wiper blades over the weekend.

 

That is wild! What kind of bad luck is that, can’t believe a rock hit it moving at that speed and shattered it. Sorry to hear that, what a bummer.

 

Installed a trd leather shift knob on the transfer case shifter.
Replacing that junk plastic insert one that comes from the factory and spins in your hand when you shift.
This one has brass threads and is rock solid.

 

Yeah. I feel like I'm getting it in the rear here of late. Luckily, local glass shop can get the new sunroof glass ordered and installed cheaper than my deductible. Which isn't saying much, but saving money wherever I can these days.

 

That sucks, what a way to get decommissioned. Hope the repair goes quick. Im curious…Ive heard tinted sunroofs (sunrooves ? lol) can sometimes explode on their own. Was yours tinted?

 

It had factory tint on it. My old Tacoma I had that shit blacked out with ceramic tint (which was my plans this summer -- but this prob not gonna happen anytime soon). All the glass was tinted (sunroof included). I know there is a lot of discourse about how dark you should (or shouldn't as the case may be) your windows tinted. But in Missi'ppi, that dark tint helps keep that interior cool. And that's all that matters to me.

 

Wheels/tires installed. Summit Dakars w/ 265/70/17s. Had ran these on my previous Tacoma. Will probably move to a 285 sometime in the near future but actually pretty happy with the current stance as it sits.

This morning was $40 for 7 gallons

 

$80 is my most expensive fill up yet. Not even the most expensive gas station either.

 

I wish I was paying that! Up here in Vancouver Canada, our gas prices right now is $2.19/litre, converted to US is $6.53/gallon...

To fill up from a 1/4 tank costs approx $140CAD - approx $110 USD

 

Lubbock, Texas - $3.92 yesterday.

 

$4.25 in Hernando, MS. Was $3.99 just on Monday.

 

Just paid $7.09 for diesel in Sacramento CA

Paid 5.05 for diesel in Nevada last weekend

 

Gas ranges from about $4.65 to $4.86 here at the moment.
