I finally got my Shrockworks sliders and installed them yesterday! I removed the stock rocker panels and installed the rocker trim kit from Shrockworks. I love the look and my kids can now get in the 4runner without being lifted up!!

Looks great, what an improvement! I have to say, you're braver than I am - I really considered SW vs. RSG, but those 'stick nuts' drove me nuts, and I did not want to deal with them. Nice job. Removing the Limited 'skirt' really changes the look.

Thanks! The stick nuts actually weren’t that bad. I just looked through the hole that the bolt was going through, lined up the stick nut first, then pushed the bolt through and connected. I installed them by myself. It took me a few hours taking my time.

Do you have any other side pictures. I’ve got a set of shrockwork sliders I took off my Offroad. I wasn’t sure if it was worth the effort to put them on the new limited. Was the xreas any problem with the mounts.

It wasn’t difficult. The xreas lines are attached to the frame with plastic clips. I disconnected the clips along where the hydraulic lines ran along the frame and slid the slider mounts under the lines. I shaved off one of the clips with a Dremel and clipped it back on the the hydraulic line and rested it against the slider mount to prevent rubbing (temp fix). I moved the other clip to a higher hole in the frame. I bought some hard rubber tubing that I’m going to slice in half and slip it over the hydraulic lines to protect them. This will be done tomorrow. I hope this helps.

Another pic showing the clip moved to a higher hole. They pop out with a flat head screwdriver and insert right back into the same sized hole in the frame.

That doesn’t seem to bad. I guess the trick is to keep lines from rubbing. I had planned on ripping out the xreas right away, but I spent that money on trd wheels and tires.

I’m happy with keeping the xreas intact. Even after a 3/1 leveling kit and bigger tires, the ride is still great.

This is my permanent fix. This thick rubber tubing that I bought at Tractor Supply Co protects the hydraulic line pretty well from rubbing.
