Hello everyone. In the process of purchasing an very low mileage 2016 4Runner. I think my main concern is/would be 4WD and lack of usage over the last 7 years. Anything else to be on the lookout for? Thank you.....Sean

If you are buying from a dealer and it is advertised as 4WD, some states have "implied warranty laws". Mt Brother bought a K5 Blazer in Cali and the 4WD didn't work; he made the dealer fix it on its dime. Otherwise, keep it lubed. Be sure to test drive the 4WD for a short distance.

Yes that is the plan. Honestly 4WD issue did not even come across my radar until I was watching a maintenance YT video and the YT guy was like "hey once a month put it in 4h and drive a few miles to make sure everything is working properly"

The owners manual says to drive in 4 wheel drive for 10 miles a month I believe to keep things free and lubed of course if on dry pavement only straight. I would make sure you don’t have the needle bearing issue & be sure to test drive at 50-70 mph and make sure the steering wheel doesn’t shimmy to, though that can be a issue that doesn’t show up right away.

Thank you just actually moved from AZ to TN. Spent most of my time in Tucson/Vail area before moving up to PHX.
