Cartimhome TRD skid plate with oil filter door. What’s the consensus on them here?

So Im thinking about gettin a trd skid for my 22 ORP. Started to research and found way to many bad stories on them. From dealers always messing them up, hardware not up to par and simply having to take them off every time for a oil change. That has definitely put me off a bit. Alos I know ther is others like RCI but want the OEM look for now.

So I came across the cartimhome trd skid plate. Yes I know it’s not OEM. though it’s the same material and same thickness as well. Main thing this comes with a oil filter door. I don’t want to ever remove the skid plate unless it’s really needed.

So I’m here to see if anyone has first hand experience or any other info on this skid plate?

In my experience, Cartrim stuff is hit or miss (I know plenty have had good experiences with them, but mine have mostly been miss); and unless somethings changed and is unique with these pieces, it will ship from China, and will take a very long time to arrive... at $250, I'd much rather spend a little bit more and get a better engine skid from RCI, Victory4x4, etc...

I was looking at the car trim skid and a Rival 4x4 skid. I know I’m not going to be dropping my truck on rocks. But I think I’m going to just order some aluminum RCI ones whenever they do their next sale. Haven’t heard one bad thing about the RCI

 

I’ve had my cartrim skid on for a few months now and no issues. Makes changing the oil a lot easier.
