Howdy. Been a member of Tundras.com for a while. Had the catalytic converter cut out from my Tundra a couple of weeks ago. Oem is 6 month to a year out so I decided to buy a 2014 limited red AWD to use in the meantime. I already ordered a steel plate to protect this car. I'm paranoid.

so for peace of mind I took the 4runner to another dealer and had them do the 30 point inspection. They told me that the front shocks are starting to leak. I don't feel any difference on the ride, still smooth. I'm going to take the car back to the dealer tomorrow and request that they fix it but I'm sure they're going to pull up a bunch of excuses on why they don't have too..

Question, should this be a deal breaker?

I've got practically new XREAS shocks, front and back if your interested, took them out about 3 months after taking delivery of my 2022 TRD Sport. No fluid dropped when removed.

I haven't tried it yet, but these brackets are supposed to allow you to fit running boards on the Limited that are designed for the SR5's/TRD's :
    https://www.amazon.com/Westin-27-1945-Running-Board-Mount/dp/B005M3A816

I saw them mentioned in this thread : https://www.4runners.com/threads/2020-factory-running-boards-are-much-too-narrow.11790/
