2022 4Runner TRD Off Road Premium
    Hello everyone,

I have read through some threads and have some ideas but I guess I’d like suggestions catered to my specific needs. Just bought a 22 TRD Off Premium (no KDSS) I’m new to the off-road world but want to continue to expand my knowledge and make it a real hobby as I live in an area with plenty of trails and already spend most of my free time camping and hunting so I think it’s a good marriage.

So my first few questions are:

1.) What’s is a good quality suspension that will perform well as a daily driver (this is also a family car) but also tackle difficult trails? I want to do it right and I’ve seen options from $3-5k (Old Man Emu, Icon). I am no expert in off roading/over landing but want something I can grow into over time.

    2.) Recommendations on tires?

3.) Is the stock suspension on my vehicle capable as it is?

Thanks all in advance forgive me for my ignorance in the topic.

Check out Ironman 4x4. I’ve used there lifts on my last 3 builds and have been more than happy with them. I got there stage 3 kit on my 22 4runner and it’s awesome and rides fantastic. I’m running 285/70/17 Falken Wildpeaks with a 0 offset wheel. Had to do a little trimming but have no rubbing now.

Also Ironman is doing another 25% sale right now on all there products.

    Hope this helps.

Welcome from Wisconsin! Snickel Fritz (post #2) has a solution. With this question about suspension and tires you might get a lot of responses, there are many systems and tires to choose from, pretty much your choice. So many capable tires and suspensions. Good luck on your quest.
