New Eibach 2.0 Kit - Springs All Gouged

My Eibach 2.0 coilover kit arrived today. The box literally looked like it was rolled a mile to my porch. Never had a box delivered that looked so bad. Was only on a UPS truck less than 24 hrs as it just came from the vendor in Ohio to my house in Indiana. My question is in regards to the springs. The rear springs have gouges and scratches all over them. Am I being too paranoid or is this something I should look to get replaced? My 4Runner is brand new and would prefer to put brand new appearing springs on it as well. Curious if this is normal??

My main concern over the aesthetics, is that I live in the rust belt and am concerned the coating is compromised and may be prone to rusting prematurely. Some of them are pretty deep.

The box had tape all over the top of it, the spanner wrench is not in there, not sure if there is supposed to be any additional hardware or not, but there isn’t any. Something just seems off to me.

I'd try to negotiate 40% off from who you bought them from bolt em on and spend the savings on another deer gun or ammo...

 

Those scratches would bother me, and I don't even mind the scratches in my paint.

Seems like you have enough pictures to show that they arrived damaged.

 

Contact Eibach, send photos and have them send replacements. Let them sort it out with ups!
