Dog Gate and Cargo Liner for a Limited w/3rd Row

I need to get a dog gate and cargo liner for the rear cargo area for my Limited with 3rd row seating. Any recommendations would be very helpful. - Thank you!

 

Do you still plan on using the 3rd row seating ever again?.....or will the cargo area behind the 2nd row seating be devoted to cargo and pets?

I have an SR5 w/sliding deck that has been furnished with a rago molle panel and shelf system, a chewy K&H pet liner, and cargo netting separating my dog/cargo from my 2nd row seating.....

The pet liner straps to the rear seat head rests and molle side panels.....the cargo netting fills in the gap between the shelf and rear seat back rest....

It's the only system I could come up with to keep my lab from riding shotgun up front. She defeated any of the pressure-seated partitions with ease.

I never use the slider deck anyway......

Even though its pricey due to the rago system, it works like a champ.

I was trying to find some folks who might have used and could recommend something similar to this that could be easily removed. The manufacture states this works on the 5 passenger model 4Runner but not the 7 passenger.

 

So, I am reading this correctly, you want to use both the gate and the 3rd row seat?

 

I want to use the gate with the 3rd row seat down but be able to remove the gate when I need to use the 3rd row seat.

 

In that case, sounds like the product should work, a call to the company may be in order just to make sure. I gotta believe that's their way of confirming it cant be used while 3rd row seating is in use.

 

It may be that the 3rd row seat prevents anchoring the bottom of the cage...but I agree with @SCgman that a call to the company is warranted to see if that is the case.

 

Agree.....I've never owned a 4runner model with 3rd row seating.....I gifted a similar partition product to my son who drove an equinox. The cargo floor had uneven flex and we had to provide a 2x runner along the base rod/pillars to provide a constant bearing surface to snug the verticals. Could be a possible solution in the 4runner as well...

Easy in easy out, just wedges against the ceiling and floor. Once you take 15 minutes and set it up correctly, you can have it in or out in a minute. I think it was $50.

We went with a 3rd row removal and Raingler cargo net for our dogs and the trunk.

 

I just bought the weather Tec one, works fine so far

 

Thankyou folks for posting this info and photo's. The Raingler cargo net looks to be what I am after to keep my camping gear secure in the back in case of an accident. (Directly behind the front seats) The reviews make it sound difficult to install, can you offer anything from your experience installing? (2021 TRD Offroad here)
