Thanks for having this Forum. I'm going to be restoring my Daughters 2002 4Runner SR5 Limited and knew the first thing to help me in this process was to join a Forum especially dedicated to 4Runners. My first ask is where is a good website to look at parts (OEM) to start purchasing to start the restoration? Thank you...

Toyota parts, mile for mile are the cheapest. Beware of counterfeit parts.

I go to partsouq.com, put in my vin. Then I find the part number I need from the diagrams.

Then I go to McGeorge Toyota Online parts and order the parts there. They are a TOYOTA dealer and discount roughly 30%.

I bought a couple of Denso parts from Partsgeek.com. Denso\Aisin\Mitsuboshi\Tokico are suppliers for TOYOTA.

Also, go on ebay and look for the FACTORY SERVICE MANUAL.

Usually there is a seller, selling the PDF for $10. If you hunt maybe you can find it floating out there for free.

I find it pointless to dive into working on these cars yourself without it. It has all the procedures, torque specs and wiring diagrams, etc.
