Yea it’s close, you could slide a few pieces of paper between it, but that’s with the suspension hanging tires off the ground. Gets better when sitting

Well I don’t regret buying them. Tho I’ve only driven a 1/2 mile with them on on a gravel pothole road. The clanking sound is noticeable with the windows down. Hoping to form a better opinion on then next weekend when we get out on some trails. 4 runner is the toy so it’s rarely driven anymore other than camping/ trail runs

Few more installs today. First, installed a vent for the water tank and sent through the vent tube and into the tank a thermometer probe that is monitored by the RedArc RedVision Battery Management System. Second, because where the water tank is installed permanently it's challenging to see how full or empty it is. Thus, installed a water level monitor that has its own display but is also monitored by the RedVision. Wanting to see how accurate the monitoring system I marked the tank depth on a wooden rod with a black line. Then randomly filled the tank with water and measured where it landed on the wooden rod; asking My Life how full she thought the tank was and she said about 2/3 or 66%. The monitor calculated 67% full. Accidently overfilled the tank to the rim, the watermark above the black line on the wooden rod, and the monitor read 100% full. The monitor comes with a power switch for the water pump so changed out the previously installed one. Third, changed a breaker switch from 15A to 20A after having to change where the induction stove was plugged in before, as the cord was too close to the heater, NO Bueno. Once satisfied with the components will complete this panel on the passenger side to look like the driver side panel. Or might change both to pegboard instead of cedar. Not sure which yet. Fourth for today, installed an under the hood rodent repellent (https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07LCKBGY8?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details) and will install the same in the cabin. Both are connected to the house battery so as to not drain the start battery.

That’s awesome. Would you mind showing a pic of it on the truck & disconnected? Besides just pulling the pin, does anything come off when you disconnect it? Does the sway bar drop? Seems like the link parts and sway bar sticking in there would get pushed around and bound up on stuff. So many questions… I’d like to see a video of that while the suspension is being worked.

Yea I’ll grab some more pics in a bit.all you have to do is pull out the pin. The pin holds the collar down preventing the lower hiem joint from sliding up.let me search for a video link. I think I left one a few posts back

Those disconnects look nice. When I had my Tacoma, no one had a quick disconnect solution. I ended up just removing the sway bar.

@steal I don't but I wasn't doing the installation either. I purchased these from tire rack and they have a company that will deliver and install. I wasn't home and my wife took the pictures for me.

With the Icon suspension, no sway bar gave a much better ride both on and off road.

I’m positive of that, until you have to steer hard at higher speed and it causes a wreck.

The Icon suspension is stiffer than stock. Even with no sway bar, I had no body roll.

Went to start on a gmrs radion install, but got distracted by the fact I never took care of some unfinished business after my Warn bumper install.

The straps that helped tie the bumper to the frame interfered with with the swaybars a bit, which limited their upward movement in the sway bushings. Got the grinder out and took care of that!

    Nice stuff.
Question about that hatch strut: the liftsupportsdept website is a little confusing. Did you have to contact them by email to get the proper part number for your application, an attached ladder?

I did contact them, just to make sure I got the right ones (first using the IM on the website, then I called from work. Both times they were super friendly and helpful) . I have a 2021 TRD Off Road, so they were a perfect fit (https://www.liftsupportsdepot.com/lift-supports-depot-pm3489-gas-charged-liftgate-lift-support/).
