Put my RAV 4 blind spot mirrors in (found a great ebay seller, $93 for both, including shipping from Japan).

 

I probably bought from the same guy. Shipped fast. Install went smooth too. glad I did it.

 

Nice functional mod and easy install. Crazy how this guy ships from Japan and is still $30-$40 cheaper than anyplace I found in the US.

 

Upgraded from cheap little antenna to a nice heavy coax with nmo mount and 5/8 wave antenna for gmrs

 

Why from Japan? Toyota sells them online for $47 each.

 

I’ve wheeled the sh** out of these tires do good on everything, be replacing with the same accept 35s instead of these 33s

 

Every place I checked wasn't including shipping and they ended up a lot more than that. A lot of these dealers quote a low parts price but then slap an inflated S&H charge on. Getting them from Japan was cheaper.

 

When I buy parts online, I buy from a dealer. Set the dealer to your local and select "pickup". No shipping charges. Mine gives a 10% discount. Not a lot but something is better than nothing.

 

I'm aware of that. My local dealer was at full retail which is something like $67 per side, plus sales tax. I did my homework!

Edit: I expanded the search to other dealers and if I went 30 miles I could have gotten them for $120 for the pair including tax (plus the gas for a 60 mile round trip!), so getting them shipped from Japan was still by far the cheapest option.

 

My local dealer stopped doing pickup a couple years ago. It was nice when I ordered wheels for my Tacoma. But they still offer 34% off on most things. Their shipping prices are reasonable.

Every day I drive since I put these on I’m amazed at the usefulness and safety these add. Absolute game changer and IMO must-have.

 

I have a '22 ORP with BSM and heated mirrors. Will the newer RAV4 mirrors with blind spot features work for me?

Agree 100%, I had the dealership include the mirrors with the 4 Runner when I got it, but then again my wife works at the dealership and I basically stole my 2021 ORP.

I've been wondering this as well.

 

Across rack and down the side of windshield. Coax fits perfect in the drain channel. In grommet in pass side firewall then inside dash to a mxt 275 that’s mounted behind dash

 

Do you mind taking a snap of which grommet it went through? Did you just shove it in there, or cut the grommet? Thinking of getting the same radio, and never put anything through the firewall. Im worried I’ll screw something up lol

No idea, sorry. The heat function should be no problem but I don't know about the other functions.

 

Totally agree after the first day driving with them. Very useful and easy mod.

 

Well, I had enough with the crazy laggy throttle response and since ovtune hasnt released a tune yet for the 2020+ 4runners. I guess this will work till then. Can't wait to feel the difference

 

Installed a Switch Pros and some chase lights.

 

Very much liking the red SR5 and Toyota lettering. Can I ask where you found those? And is the back logo and 4RUNNER in red also?

 

you will enjoy imo.. i do.. especially when I took the two trips to so. cal..

 

Ut oh… that bad? If they are fragile I am concerned they won’t work on the 4Runners.
