After upsizing from a 33" to 34", Im having to do this mod wanted to see how people are doing it. I've read thru posts that there were instances when they would be hammering and pop the seam open. This is what I want to avoid. I ran to a t4r owner and recommended me a fab shop who does this regularly. Called the shop and they do a BMC and pinch weld package for $475. I thought that was a steep price but honestly they do really a good job. I already did a BMC but will need to do this mod, any suggestions and tips would be helpful.

I haven't done this one a 5th gen but did it on my third gen and on my 92 pickup. I just used a hammer and beat the pinch weld over. It didn't open the weld at all just folds the seam over.
