Hey guys, so I am currently working on plastidipping the chrome on my 4runner because I hate how it looks but I’m not about to drop $1.4k on a wrap that’ll start peeling and chipping within a few years. Anyways, I did almost everything, and it looks really good, but I can’t seem to figure out how to get the door handles off to plastidip them off the car.

I have a 2017 Limited, so I am wondering if there is a lot of wiring in the front door handles due to SmartKey???

Please help me out if you can! Thanks guys.

Here’s a couple pictures of the car. One is of the door handles and the stuff I still need to get to, and the rest is the results from when I did already plastidip. 29EE2195-9830-4711-89F2-7812B8FE0629.jpg E45258DC-ED8B-465F-989F-4036D9638EA5.jpg C55C7754-9EB7-4A5B-9DEF-EC025036FFCA.jpg

Nice work! I masked and just did the chrome while on the truck. Wasn't sure about the touch pads either. I like your bumper, may do my Night Shade. The "black" chrome isn't quite black enough.
