Just installed a JL audio 8 inch sub in the factory enclosure and powered it with a Rockford fosgate R2 500x1 amp. I notice when I turn the car off I hear a pop from the subwoofer. Has anyone had this issue before? I’m using the DC offset feature on the amp for the signal to turn it on so I’m thinking it might have something to do with that.

Check your grounds first, make sure they are good. Unplug the RCA's, see if it still pops with the RCA's unplugged. You may need a trigger delay device of some kind.
