Good call on the TSS, will keep that in mind if I have to go back in there. Skid plate wasn't an issue, clips are just in a tight space you can't see into

I dunno who I feel worse for, the person who thinks they'll make money blogging about swapping valances.. or the person reading said blog

Should have gone nitrogen filled. Now you need to replace the wheels and tires.

I'm afraid that you'll have to buy a brand new car for this specific issue!

Pinstripes, lots of em. Plus a couple dents.
I had my rear silver valance wrapped while vacationing in Florida last year.
    Wrapped lower valance.jpg

The wrap, valance, and bumper got torn up off road. I pulled the rear valance off as it was hanging by 1 clip.

actually I kind of like them, the add some visual interest and break up the colours a bit. it looks better on black or red 4Runners I find.

getting a Silver ORP so while I do not believe the valences are fulling colour-matched it will blend in a bit more.

I think I would have just had them sprayed with satin bed liner black...Prolly a couple hundred dollars & much more durable than paint.

Where I’m at so far - OEM Pro grille, front and rear valances, and black tail pipe tip all on. Added the OEM TRD wheels, black out emblems, and removed the running boards because I didn’t even want them to begin with. I just need to do the black heritage hood scoop/bulge and I’ll be happy

Looks great Doug! No Running Boards for me either. Didn't have any when I bought it. Thought about it briefly, then decided...no. I won't be doing any hard wheeling or crawling over any rocks. I'll leave that to my 4Wheeler.

Thank you, agreed. Although they aren't that bulky, I find the 4Runner looks better without them and obviously clearance is better off-road. Given the market, whatever showed up at the dealers is what you got.. and this one had the running boards. I'll post them up for sale sooner than later lol.

Yes, it’s relatively simple if you have a screw driver and a 10mm socket and rachet!

There are like 2 10 mm bolts and 3 screws to take off behind the radar sensor. Take those out, slide the radar sensor backing off and unclip the wire harness from the mount right next to it. It can dangle behind the bumper beam while you remove the bumper.
