Just joined the 4runner gang

Hi there, everyone. I'm from Minnesota and I'm 2 weeks into owning my 2020 Toyota 4Runner TRD Off Road Premium. So far, I'm in love. I even got the whole 4runner starter pack from Amazon: blackout embelm overlays, LED low/high beam and fog lights, tow hitch and a few interior accessories.
Just added the 265/70/17 Toyo Open Country AT3 today and hoping to add pedal commander this weekend. Just wanted to learn as much as I can from this forum so that I can add the right mods to where I want to aim for.

Welcome and greetings from Minnesota right back at you. How did the sales folks at Carlson treat you? I just bought a new Tundra, Carlson wanted $500 down just to look for a truck, Maplewood Toyota asked what I wanted, found it then called me with the info, and then asked for the $500 to lock it in. Guess which one I bought from?

 

Maplewood. I'm guessing. How long is the wait for a new car?
Carlson was OK. I'm knew exactly what I wanted so I didn't waste my time looking or asking about anything else. The funny thing is knowing more info then the salesperson.

From the time I put money down till the time the truck hit the rail yard was 2 weeks. Then the NHTSA imposed stop sale recall for the steering rack hit, which was before the dealer took possession, and it sat at the rail yard for 5 months. I just got my new 2021 Tundra that I put money down on in October, on March 8th. The sad thing was I had more information from the Tundra forum about the truck and the recall than the dealer. That’s why I also joined the 4Runner form. Lots of accurate info.
