Besides gears, bumpers and a winch it is about done. The only issue currently is the backup camera is not working. I think I separated a connection when I was pulling wires to the rear. Everything else works like it should: 2012 with 170k miles. Don’t show me any more new stuff, please, thanks. LOL

Gracias! I know @Thatbassguy. I am currently resisting the canvas seat covers and power rear hatch. They just make too much fun stuff for 4Runners.

Well seat covers are very functional, especially if you have a dog or are into outdoor activities like hiking or mountain biking. Seat covers were the 2nd thing I bought for mine.

Im a bit surprised you dont see more headlight/bumper/face-swap threads to go back to the OG 5th gen look.

    Hmmm, now I gotta search.

Looking real good. But I want to look at it more lol. The black ones are hard to get a picture with enough light. Next time you are taking an late afternoon drive, get a nice pic of it with the sun on it.

Consider the picture taking effort as a contribution, maybe even a duty, to the 4runner community. It’s an early 5th gen, after all.

It’s hard to get the light right! I will get a better one this week. It’s filthy and I have too much work to do right now to wash it.
I always hated the front end of these, prefer the new style (TRD Pro style) front end. I gave this one a facelift of my own. Coastal Off-road will fix the chin.

Where I live it is as much a matter of function. There are lots of big wild critters like deer, hogs, axis deer, buzzards, and all kinds of domestic stuff like cows, donkeys and goats roaming the roads trying to destroy your front end. So far I have only hit a buzzard and a hog, not in this truck, but it is a matter of time until it happens again. Most of my neighbors’ front bumpers are smashed in.

ARB needs to include a coupon for the suspension upgrade you are definitely going to need to hold up that beast.

That would piss me off as I already have all OME on mine. But of course it would be good for everyone else.
