Rear end howl gone. ARCHOIL 9100

Close to 30k on my 2021. I changed all fluids other than the brakes and the power steering. I use Archoil 9100 originally in my 7.3 Powerstroke from maybe 10years ago. I have always added it to differentials and transfer cases.

So the wife’s 2020 doesn’t have the rear end howl, my 2021 did. So this change I went with Redline 75W-90 and the correct amount of Archoil (3.2 ounces per quart). The howl is gone. This wasn’t the point of changing fluids, I did for my piece of mind. Didn’t think about it until I didn’t hear the howling going on.

 

My rear end howls sometimes too but I haven’t be able to fix it !! LMAO…pass me another Stella
