Tips For Getting At Front Marker Bulbs

Does anyone out there have any tips or tricks for changing the Front Marker bulbs... circled in Red below...


I can get to it, up past the Wheel Well Liner, and get my fingers on it, but I can't get the #%$^#% thing to turn, and unlock. I figured it was just old, weal fingers, so I had my 21 yr old son, whose arms are longer than mine try, and still no joy. I tried getting ahold of the socket with mini waterpump pliers, and that would have worked, if I could get both hands up in the "wheel cave".

I just can't bring myself to take the entire front end off, so I can remove the headlight assembly, just to get at the Markers...

 

Turn the wheel fully in on the side you are working. Remove the clips and 10mm bolts that hold the inner fender in place in that area to the bottom of the fender. Plenty of room for my XXL hands. Need more room? Remove the wheel to peal back more of the inner fender.
