How much armor before I need to upgrade shocks

I’ve got a 5th gen ORP and am planning to add RSG front/mid skid plate and rock sliders - total weight of around 250- 300 lbs.

Currently have stock shocks, will I notice the extra weight or so I need to think about an upgrade.

This is my Everyday drive so mostly a mall crawler but plan to do some rocky off road trails this spring. Not really interested in a lift.

I put sliders on mine right away, and regularly drove with a bunch of tools and gear. I don't think you'll have an issue.

I also believe there are options for upgraded shocks/coilovers that can function at stock height, if you get to a point where you want to upgrade.

I have all the front skids and sliders, on stock suspension. It feels fine, I didn't notice a difference. An extra 250 - 300lbs is like driving around with a passenger or two, so it's not a huge deal.

I have aluminum skids as I wheel not looking for trouble but it is there "just in case".
I think aluminum full skids (engine, transmission, transfer case) + gas tank skid would be just 60-70lbs or so.
