Headed to Colorado next month and thought I would invest in some tire chains for the 4Runner. Any brand in particular to look for and any suggestions what to stay away from would be helpful,

I like diamond pattern chains as opposed to the ladder style. Have a look at these. Good for on- and off-road and they are mounted without moving the vehicle.

in the past I have been a fan of Rud Grip 4X4 chains but their availability here in the US seems to have dwindled.
