Picked up the 2022 SR5 trail edition in army green. Show far love it.
Anyway when I bought it the trunk cooler was on back order (COVID fallout), finally received it in box with attaching hardware but no installation instructions for the brackets. Searched web and YouTube but I’m striking out.

I think you need to put it in the back of the runner, then fill with your favorite beverage, top with ice, drive to nice spot, enjoy a beverage. Disclaimer, if those beverages contain alcohol, then before having a few secure a driver to transport you back.

    hope these institutions help.

After reviewing the foreign language directions, you should just sent it to me.

What are you confused about? Loop the straps through the cooler handles/tie down points then strap to the tie down points in the storage area. Either the two closest to the hatch or closest to the seats.

I hate this politically correct crap. Dude, just let him drink his beers, WTF. Why do you have the need to tell others what to do? You do you and let him to him. Do you think he's gonna go "oooh, damn it, i cant drink this beer, that guy on the internet told me to secure another driver"

Relax man, the whole post was a joke. But in all seriousness, some folks are dumb enough and lawyers are hungry enough, who freaking knows in today’s world.

Well so much for help. Obviously I can just throw it and roll but it didn’t come with brackets and hardware for nothing. Oh well.

The cooler only comes with that one trim, and that trim isn't super common. I'm sure when someone sees this who can answer your question, they'll be glad to help. It's simply not something that most of us know how to do.

Yeah I hear you. I appreciate the honest feedback and really don’t mind the funny comments but didn’t try to start having people go at it with each other. Thanks brother.

Maybe change the thread title to "trunk cooler question", or something similar, so more people will pop in. I'm sure there's a member or 2 who have one and could help.

    Also, welcome to the forum!

    What this guy said.

I apologize for my role in the derailing, however I still stand by the foreign language directions, you should send it to me. Disclaimer, it took me 2 years to get thru high school French. Shit, now that I think about it, it taked me for year of england class too. Oh and college was 2 semesters of Spanish. So take anything I say for it’s reduced value that it is.

I know this an old post but thought I would post this just in case it is still needed.

The small bracket piggybacks the bracket underneath the slide handle opening.

The long bracket with loops for straps goes on the rear of the slide. Drill 2 holes for the supplied bolts. The long flat bar with 2 holes goes underneath for support.
Long strap for the rear and short strap for the front. This can mount to either side of the slide. Pics and part numbers below. Hope this helps.
