toyota app update issues?

A couple of weeks I ran the update for the Toyota app on my iPhone. Now my messaging doesn't work and will not install. I have deleted the iPhone and the link on the 4Runner several times, but it doesn't help. I contacted Toyota directly and nothing they suggested worked. For a while my weather app was working, but the last time I deleted the phone and reinstalled it, the weather app went back to reading -999 for the current temperature. Anyone else having this problem?

Toyota says they are no longer supporting the messaging app. That really pisses me off. I paid for that when I bought the truck and now Toyota just decides to take it away and never said anything about it

 

Discovered today entune completely disabled and directing me to use toyota app. I load the toyota app and ZERO of the features work(weather, yelp, traffic, sports, stocks,). Infact the app tself locks up. Radio and navigation work for now, but give toyota time, they will screw it up oonnwr or later.

 

They just need a little more time so they can start charging us for it.
