Used rear axle assemblies???

Need to know a good resource for used rear axle assemblies. My rear axle housing is so badly rusted it's leaking THROUGH the housing metal. Need help! Need a good used one because new parts/labor is over $5000 and the truck was only $7800. Please help. 2002 SR5 4x4 stock.

 

I'd just look on CL. I ended up just giving mine away from my 3rd gen when I swapped to an elocker housing. Not that hard to swap if you have a little bit of mechanical skill.

 

I have a spare 8" elocker housing (2nd gen taco, 67" wms) that I won't use, it's in west Houston .. dunno where you are located though

 

I think I found a full 3rd gen (2000) 4Runner rear end in CA with 130k on it. Will let the forum know more when I know more.
