I've decided to go with SDHQ's hidden winch mount. Question I have is does it fit other winches? Are the mounting points ( holes) for Warn winches only or is it more like universal fitment? Website only specifies Warn winches and the customer rep said they cannot guarantee. I'm looking at 9k-10k range winches and wanted to know if any of you have mounted different winches other than the Warn ones. Thanks in advance!

I cannot confirm - since I have the SDHQ with a Warn - but my understanding is the mounting holes are an industry standard 10" x 4.5". I suppose if you buy A-Number-One Winch Brand Made China For Your Reputable Pull Power Most Strongth you might get different mount hole locations...

Any reputable winch should have a spec sheet available online and that sheet should include a diagram of the mounting holes measured center-to-center.

Edit, a quick Google look-see says Warn, Rugged Ridge, and Smittybilt for sure use the 10x4.5 pattern that the SDHQ is cut for. Didn't look for others...

Yes they are the standard and should fit just about all winches. I have an IronMan 4x4 winch in mine!
