    Hi All,

Waiting for my 21' to arrive and window shopping lifts already. Was thinking about 5100's all around or maybe 6100's in the front and 5100's in the rear. Currently looking at 2.5 front and 2 rear. Per my math this will leave me with .75" higher rear/cant. Am I doing the math correct on this and any downsides to going up the 2.5? Biggest I'll go on tire would prob be 275.

    Thanks in advance

Eric, this forum is great for this kind of stuff. You should take the time to read some the posts on the subject, these questions have been asked and answered 1000s of times already.
A lift will not make your wheel well bigger.

Hey CB, thanks for the reply. I have been searching for a while and have not come across what I am looking for. Are you able to suggest a post with a lift with similar specs? I am not sure what you mean about the wheel well being bigger? I mentioned no such thing in my post. Just looking for someone with the same lift with 265's or 275's. Thx

Rear is about 1” higher. Might need upper control arms at 2.5”
Lifting a vehicle and changing the specs is opening a can of worms. There’s lots of posts with people running 275’s on 2.5” lifts.

Thanks for the info. Explain can of worms? I am under the impression that anything under 3" should be no problem.. I will review the post you included. tx much

    Don’t forget about TSS :)
    And yes, it might rub.

The dealer in my area said that Toyota updated them and adv that the TSS is not s problem with a reasonable lift, so shouldn't be an issue. I hear lots of other dealers that wont lift 4R's but think they must be working with the old orig data that Toyota sent out with the TSS from 2020 or they just don't have anyone that can correctly do the work and thus say it cant be done.

Well the rig is finally in and get to pick it up tomorrow. Will post a pic when I can and then we continue the search for a lift and tires. Thanks to everyone that's helped with pictures and measurements.
Sometimes you just have to see it before you can imagine it for yourself.

    Cheers!

Eric, my 19 ORP with KDSS has 275s. I have Bilstein 6100s up front with coilovers from Toytec, part number and 5100s in the back with factory springs. IMG_3787.jpg

Why the TT front springs VS the ones that come with the 61 kit?

Why didn’t you use the springs that come with the 6100’s?

I did use the springs that came with the 6100s up front. That is why I posted a picture of the kit. I did not order springs with the 5100s I installed in the back as I basically was after leveling my truck rather than a four corner lift.

    Congrats…

FWIW. I am running 285/75/17 with -12mm offset wheels and I have about the same height lift as what you are looking at getting. I had very little rubbing just driving on the street. I did have to remove the front mud flaps. I have also been off-roading several times and rub ever so slightly. Best of luck.

Oh sorry for the confusion. I thought you said you used some ToyTech springs and figured those replaced the 6100 springs from Bilstein. Thanks

Hey all, Finally have an update on the rig. Been busy with work etc, but got the lift in and installed. Thanks to @Crikeymike at Exit Offroad for the support and timely delivery on the parts and @Roland for lots of help and advise along the way. Lift was planned to be 2.5F/1.5R, but ended up a hair short in the front and a hair big in the rear. Still very happy with the ride and looks. Just debating on which way to go for some new shoes next.IMG_8746.jpg IMG_8767.jpg IMG_8773.jpg IMG_8771.jpg IMG_8772 (1).jpg
