Hello. I have 2017 4 runner that has the needle bearing issue that does cyclical humming sound. I have had the dealer look at it they could not reproduce it even with the tab printed and now I am out of warranty. I don’t feel like battling with the dealer since I will be looking to buy a new runner or sequoia this summer. The weird thing is it only makes the sound when it’s cold. My question to the forum is there any worry of breaking down if this does not get fixed? I have 1000 mile drive this weekend.
    thx

Isn't the entire point of a TSB that they'll fix it even if it's out of warranty?

Don't battle the dealer. The fix is terminal. New bearing will fail. Get the bushing

There's several members on here who've been driving theirs for months with the issue, so I don't believe it's likely to cause anything catastrophic to happen. But do what makes you comfortable.

    spacer lift front 1inch
so you changed the front/rear diff oil and also changed the transfercase fluid around 50K miles.
a mechanic looked up you drive train fluids and grease the drive shafts/yokes............
