My 4runner is leaking a bunch. I know that its leaking engine oil, and I suspect its leaking coolant, transmission fluid, and transfer case fluid. The bottom of the engine is covered in an oil dirt mixture.

I tried traditional degreaser, but it smells terrible, removes or thins undercoat paint on engine and frame, it hasn't done well completely removing where oil soaked into metal, and it seems especially bad to near belts belts.

Are there any good degreasers that are same for aluminum, steel, and painted surfaces that I can just spray around without worrying about it ruining other stuff?

I was looking at simple green

    Yes, what goat said.

the dawn powerwash, to be specific. No need for harsh degreasers.

Do you guys dilute your degreaser or just use it at full strength?

Full strength, unless you only want some of the grease off.

Been doing it to my 3rd gen 4runner and 2nd gen tundra for years. No problem. Let it sit 5-10 minutes and rinse off with hot water straight from water heater.
