What have you done to your 5th Gen 4Runner today?

Small piece and hardware box finally showed up

 

Had a rainy day, used it to work the 4x4 , ran It a few miles in 4 high, then when I got home , switched it into 4 low, drove down the street , stopped back to 4hi, then into 2hi.

 

Can’t wait to see this installed on your rig

 

I can’t wait either, hoping to get it done this weekend. May come up short on being able to paint it tho, I’ll post pics when I start

Been out for a bit. Metal was used, black off the shelf... at the time from "hardware depot". Small zip ties, secure it to the grill.

 

Got the Canvasback Liner installed and received the rest of my Skid Plate shipment today. Now to just wait for conditions to get better so I can go out and get them bolted on.

Added the decals that makes it mine officially

 

Paid it off and added a Garmin Mini 2 dash cam. Connected it to the Dongar USB port by my mirror.

 

that is the one I'm leaning towards too..

 

Had a chip in my windshield repaired today. Don't even know where it happened. The repair place and the garage next door kept complimenting my wheels.

Speaking of the wheels, does anyone else find the speedometer far more accurate with larger tires?

 

I’m running a 295/70/17 and my speedometer is a little slow.

Well here’s the packaged bumper with dual swing outs and dual Jerry can holder.

 

You’ll be shocked how small it is.

 

I’m considering this camera also -

some of the reviews said it would go into “crash mode” with an annoying beep whenever they were 4wheeling - have you experienced this?

 

Did a thing today. A little more room and propane heat.

 

Just installed it today so no.

 

I'm running that same size. When the speedometer says 70, I'm actually doing 72mph.

 

I believe I am running into the same issue. Running 285/75/17. Need to figure out hire to get this corrected so it is recording accurate miles and speed. Anyone know if this is doable with a 2020?

As far as I'm aware...2 options here
Re-grear or adjust driving style to match new rolling speed
Less anyone else can chime in

 

Lower mileage means better resale value

I'm not too worried about the less than ~2% difference I have now, but now I wonder how much of a difference the accuracy was on stock tires. I could have a few thousand less miles on my odometer. (About 65K now)

Followed ANTMAN’s fog light mod. Installed a relay switch to allow the factory fog switch to operate still but now I can control the fog lights independently without lights on and with brights on.
I’m running diode dynamic SS3 sports
