Hey Guys,

I have a 1996 4unner with 159,000 km on it , it is in mint condition . it only has bad rust at the tail gate . does anyone know where I can get a new replacement for it . it has never been driven in the winter but the rust got in. Any help would be great.

I would guess you could find a replacement panel somewhere. If not can a body shop sand blast and repaint? Post some pics.

 

I have try the best body shop that I know , they do a lot of pretty bad rust outs but they said they couldn't do anything for me .

 

That stinks. Maybe a new hatch is not available for that old of vehicle. I wonder if a southern USA junk yard May have one. Probably cost a lot thought to ship

 

I could of bought a brand new for 600 two yrs ago. Now from Toyota 1200.00 but there is none. So I guess I will try the southern states.
