Finally able to pick up my new2022 to 4Runner ORP with KDSS and sunroof in Lunar Rock!!
So hard to find that combo regardless of any new 4Runner that might have already been spoken for at a dealership as they are waiting for cars to come in.

Yep paid the additional market adjustment over MSRP.

looking to add new tires and lift. With KDSS there’s a lot of information on this site, very helpful.

    Ha yes a Great Twin.

what size tires are on it, looks like KO2s.

I’ve been running KO2 on 2007 Eddie Bauer explorer, for years.

Ya just stock size KO2’s. I did put a 1” cornfed spacer in front to level it.

Thanks. Ya 265/70’s. If it wasn’t my wife’s daily driver, I’d put 285’s on.

Last weekend I was considering adding .5" or .75" spacers to my 22 ORP to level it. I was doing research and read that the front coilover assembly off of the 3rd gen tacoma (TRD 4x4 OR) adds 1.5" to 2.5" of lift for the 4th gens. I didn't know what it would do for our 5th gens. So I started searching and got on offer up and found a pair of 2021 tacoma take off listed for $100 in mint condition with 2k miles. I made an offer for $50 and he accepted my offer. What do I got to lose but $50 and 1hr of my time right? As luck has it, I gained 1.5" of lift after the swap. I left the rears stock. The tacoma rear shocks are too soft for the weight of our 4runners.

Before (measured from center of hub to bottom of fender)
    Front driver = 20" / After driver = 21.5" (gained = 1.5")
    Front pass = 20.25" / After pass = 21.625" (gained = 1.375")

I haven't driven it much but once it settles, I'm sure it'll prob drop another 1/8" which I'm OK with and it looks 10x's better. On Friday I measured a 2022 TRD PRO (stock) with ~1000 miles and mine sat right around the same as the Pro. Rides a lot better with less nose dive. I like it better, it still have a very slight rake which isn't as significant as before. This is how Toyota should've done it.

For $50 and full OEM coilovers (vs spacer) it's a win win. I wanted to keep it as close to OEM as possible just incase, in the future I ever have warranty issues, the dealer could use the excuse that the aftermarket spacers were the cause.

Very interesting. I had not heard that before. I could see going that route too.

I think it’s prob the best and cheapest option if you want a leveled look vs going with spacers.
