I ordered mine around Black Friday at the same time I ordered sliders. I called after 7 weeks to check the status, and at exactly 8 weeks I was told I could pick everything up. I’m sure I would have received my skid plate sooner if I hadn’t ordered it with powder coated sliders.

I can also confirm the drain tool being awesome. Allows enough drainage when removed for no spillage and just pour out cleanly.

Glad to hear you got your shipping confirmation!! Also, there is an oil filter drain valve that makes replacing the filter much more clean and you don’t have to use those stupid plastic tools that come with the filter anymore. That is also worth the $15 or so that it costs.

Just wanted to chime in that I also have the RCI skids, with the camry metal oil filter housing and Fumoto drain valve and oil changes have never been easier. Only reason I had to take my skid off in the last oil change was I needed the room to put on the fumoto drain plug.

Ah thanks! How do you keep this thing clean after you use it? Do you just wipe and keep it in a ziploc or something?

The tubing isn’t very stiff. You can squeeze it clean mostly and then just flush with some water and dawn. I have a shelf that I just put it on and it’s fine. No ziploc

I don’t wash it. Just wrap it in a rag and hang it for a day to let gravity clear it out.
